Brittish Invasion tonight at Blues Alley
World renowned, British vocalist Julie Dexter is considered by many to be one of the most influential female musicians of our generation. She has shared the spotlight with a host of cutting edge artists, including Jill Scott, Bilal, Omar, Loose Ends, Jaguar Wright, Rachellle Farrell, Ledisi, Frank McCoomb, Eric Roberson, Raheem DeVaughn, and Fertle Ground to name a few. Born and raised in Birmingham, England, this classically trained artist arranges and composes her own music. Inspired by legends Nancy Wilson, Abbey Lincoln, and Bob Marley and modern day icons Omar and Sade, Julie takes classic soul straight to the heart.
