Phil Woods

In addition to his numerous accolades as a performer (he was the number one sax player in the DOWNBEAT Critic’s Poll for 16 out of 17 years) and numerous Grammy winner, Mr. Woods is a dedicated educator working with young musicians all over the country to pass on his legacy. The National Association of Jazz Educators named Phil Woods a winner in their alto saxophone category.

Dave Brubeck

Dave Brubeck, designated a “Living Legend” by the Library of Congress, continues to be one of the most active and popular musicians in both the jazz and classical worlds. With a career that spans over six decades, his experiments in odd time signatures, improvised counterpoint, polyrhythm and polytonality remain hallmarks of innovation.
