Roy Hargrove

Roy Hargrove was discovered in high school as a potential jazz talent by Wynton Marsalis. In the late 80's early 90's Roy could more often be found in New York City jam sessions. Roy Returned to Blues Alley last week with his quintet, Sullivan Fortner(Piano), Justin Robinson(Sax), Motez Coleman (Drums) & Ameen Saleem(Bass) together they took fans to a different world with a mesmerizing melody and a gracefull & elegant performace. the band continues to tour the world keeping Jazz alive.
